Hi my girlfriends steering wheel controls won’t work when using Spotify. It connects and plays fine.

when I connect my phone it plays Spotify but will also show the song title on the dash and allow me to use the steering wheel controls to change song.

both versions of Spotify are the same the only difference is I have iOS 11.2 and she has iOS 11.2.2 ? I can’t think of any other reason.

Obviously using Apple iPhones.

Apart from the ever so slightly different ios are they the same models?

Reason for asking iPhone 6 and 6 plus has different Bluetooth protocols to iPhone 6s onwards. ?

This can and does affect what is or in your case, not displayed
