Hi, i'm having blue and ME usb FUN! After getting it working, by using bm software to change my mp3s, it worked well for a week and now cuts out for a while and suddenly restarts. So i thought an update might fix it. My cars a 2011 abarth 500 and it has blue and me 2, ive downloaded the bmconfiguration software and this seemed to work, but when i tried to upload the xml file, i found it was blank! I then tried updating to v5.6 and i get a config error, also tried v5.5 same error so i'm guessing its updated to v6. Since i cant upload anything, i cant download any other versions from the crappy blue&me site and wondered if anyone one had a uk v7 or above they could email to me.
If someone could please pm me, i can provide my email.

Had an issue updating mrs mal's 500, used a 2gb usb stick, failed every time, config error, used an old 250mb stick, downloaded from blue / me site, updated car and works a treat no probs. Seems usb stick was too big !!

Ive tried various sizes, 256mb -4gb, today i tried using my laptop at work and downloaded the config file to a 4gb stick and that worked and produced a xml file. I then downloaded bm 10 and put that on the same drive, and guess what? It failed error 10! Ive since tried loads of diffrent usb's, and again the config produces the xml, but bm10 fails error 10! I even ended up with it speaking italian, but was able to apply the english pack, so its back to normal.
Bloody thing! I'm now starting to think the usb ports at fault, it seems like it loses the data signal, which would create error 10 (faq suggests this comes up when the drive is removed too early), when i plug a usb in it doesnt always light up or blink. It'd also explain the randomness of playback and stopping playing.
Cheer for you comments, i'm going to look at faulty usb sockets as the problem and see if i can get the dealer to replace it.

Fixed it was a faulty usb port, in the end i brought one from fiat and fitted it myself which took 2 minutes. As soon as it was fitted i was able to update to b&m 10 and all my usb sticks play. Strange that the fiat dealer i took it to could figure this out! I will be sending a copy of the invoice to Bristol st motors for repayment.
