Hi guys,


found this forum looking for help with my Blue and Me unit in my Chrysler Delta.


It wasn't recognising my USB stick so I updated the software to v7.0. The USB stick that it was not recognising now works but a problem has come up, the language is in Italian when I want it in English.


The sticky for language change seems outdated so I didn't want to try that as I am on version 7 of the software.


Any help is appreciated.


My xml file that I uploaded resulted in this zip file to be downloaded Aggiornamento_BlueMe_13_6_UK_A


As you can see it says UK so would have thought it would be in English.

the instructions are within the zip file.

I did bump into that. I guessed that it was for an older version of the software as it's dated from 2012, when v7 came out December 2013.


Have you tried it yourself on v7 of the software at all?

Ah got it working with the v7 update.


Just had to leave it a lot longer than it said and ignore the pdf instructions.
Display showed "Update in Progress", then went back to the normal car view. Then 30-45 seconds later it did the same thing on the display and back to normal.
Then finally it showed "Installation in Progress" and I think "USB Installation Complete".
Obviously in-between I thought it had done what it needed to do as it went back to the normal display but that was not the case.


That was it. Shame they don't tell you that anywhere!

Hello everyone. I just got one 500 model 12/2009 1.2 with blue and me. I tried to change the language from italian to english via the official fiat instructions. I put the usb with the 3 archives but nothing happened.Can you help me please?Everything else in blue and me seems to work fine (pairing, dialing etc.). Thank you in advance.
