I thought I posted this query yesterday but it doesn't seem to have appeared.

Panda 4x4 TA. Just want a simple 'phone that will make/receive calls hands off, and send/receive texts and calls out of the car. Nokia 3109 worked a treat, Samsung Galaxy Y works but it's such a c--p device that it offends me.

Does the 'phone itself have to support voice dialling, or is Bluetooth support sufficient and B&M takes care of the voice dialling? What really basic set will do what I want.

Ciao!

Windows Phones are supposedly fully compatible with Blue&Me. Text reader should also work, but I have no luck with my Lumia 820 (my old Samsung Omnia 7 worked fine). But I've read on other forums, that other Lumia 920 and even 820 phones work just fine with the message reader. Maybe it's my phone firmware. Oh, and the phone doesn't have to support voice dialing, Blue&Me and the Bluetooth connection will take care of it.

As Microsoft is responsible for Windows and Blue&Me the chances of complete compatibility are the square root of nothing.

Thanks for the info on voice dialling - I've managed to find a new Nokia 3109 Classic - cost next to nothing, does what I want - no camera, no internet connection, voice dialling works perfectly, syncs to my Mac (with a bit of fiddling around) and syncs contacts to Blue&Me.
