Does anyone know where or how to change the default volume for the lady's voice in the menus/media player/message reader/phone thingamajig/pretty much everybloodything? Every time I use b&m I get my ear drums blasted to bits (not fun if someone calls you while your driving!) and even though I can turn it down with the volume knob it will then revert to max volume when she next speaks.
There's no problem with the volume of my ipod or any external source. The problem seems to be restricted to the headunit itself.

Anyone got any ideas?

The trouble with that is it turns down the phone volume as well as the media player volume (unless I'm missing something)

Well, it's not what I was after. It's the media in the media player that's affected by the "ext volume" setting. I was after the setting that turns down the B&M voice when it reads messages and the options in the menu.

Still being deafened by that lass shouting!

Well sh*t. Something happened and I don't think it's good!
Was playing some XTC off my ipod when all of a sudden* I hear "CRACKCRACKCRACK BZZZZZZZ".
Off to the dealers tomorrow it is then

*funnily enough the song that was playing at the time is called "all of a sudden"

I think the edit button disappears after a certain number of minutes
