The blue & me media player USB system cannot handle my Sony 32 & 64 gig MP3 players (cant access all artists music as simply too much music on them and wont play playlists as saved as .pla files and not .wpl)). I'm thinking of swapping the factory fitted head unit on my punto evo sporting for a Sony (or other) manufactured one that I can plug my MP3 players directly into (not using the car's USB) so I can listen to and access all of my music, playlits etc.

Has anyone else done this? If so, will it affect the blue & me bluetooth for mobile phones? Any other problems I should be aware of?

Thanks

strange, I have a 500gb drive with 46gb worth of tunes on and it plays all of them, cant say ive got the plst thing to work either, do you have the latest version of the B&M SW?

Wouldn't it be easier to put all your music on a flash drive? I'm guessing changing the head unit will probably kill Blue&me.
