I will need to put new lectures on my USB flash drive so I can listen to them in the car. The problem is that the B&M is not recognising the new files and is failing to build a new library. How can I allow new mp3 files to be loaded into the media player?

Based on experience of the USB in my 318, try renaming the flash drive itself. Sometimes when I add new albums to my drive it doesn't always index them correctly, apparently it caches the last 4 devices based on the name of the device.
So when I update I include the date in the name, something like SSD_110304 - the car thinks it's a new drive and builds a new index.

you have 5.5 version,i have the same problem............and the simple answer .put in the usb slot a new one flash pen,add one track-then replace the new one with the old one, and you'ii have all the new library......................until the next version to work properly :worship:
