I have a Fiat 500 w/ Blue&Me and an iPhone 4.
After a lot of trial & error, I learned how to fix the common 'problems'.
Below are the results of my test.


My iPhone's music suddenly stops playing and the source switches to radio.
Solution: disconnect the Blue&Me adapter briefly and reconnect. That should solve the problem for at least a few days. If it happens again, repeat the process.
This still doesn't solve my problem ... Solution: force reset your iPhone by holding the Home and Sleep/wake button simultaneously until the screen goes black. Then release both buttons. Reconnect your iPhone to the B&M system and it should work.

The music from my iPhone is always cracking/skipping like an old vinyl record.
Solution: in iTunes' preferences, bring up the Playback section and disable 'Sound check' & 'Sound enhancer'. Sync your iPhone.
Cracks in music playback through the B&M system should now be gone.

Hi there, last night I updated the firmware on my 500 to version 5.5 and now my iphone 4 has stopped working. I have tried pairing it again, it connected for a minute and then I lose my connection....It worked wonders before the upgrade!!! Any ideas/suggestions. Thx

Got my new 500 few days ago and this has really been bugging me! Gona try the fix now :)
 
Didn't work :( Is there anything else you might have done which could of fixed/helped fix it?
 
Anyone got a fix (or experienced) contacts only coming up last name, first name on the 500? Made sure it's the right way round on my phone (iphone 3GS) but still no joy.

but these problems are due to the ipod not the B+me
 
Hi there. I got a four day old evo gp. the blue and me hands free worked fine for three days. Now when ever I call it sounds like a dalek on the other end, it become really loud and when dialling it sounds like i am in a really bad signal area even though im not. ive tried two phones (my phone is a iphone 4 which worked well for 3 days no issues ) and have also tried un pairing and re pairing etc and in various locations with engine on and off.

Its driving me mad. any ideas?

Hi,iv got a 500 its a year and half old iv connected my iphone 4 to the blue you to me and it works fine for phone calls and my numbers all show up but iv never been able to get my music from my phone to play through it.does anyone know what i have to do to make this work.

Only via a lead into the USB socket - it's not designed to play music using Bluetooth unfortunately. You can put all of your tunes onto a memory stick, although if you connect via the iPhone lead it will play MP4 tracks too.

Thankyou, what kind of lead would I need to use would it be the same one that u use to charge your phone and connect to the commputer with.

Yep, the white USB lead that came with the iPhone does the job. You might need the USB>iPhone adapter if your car is not recent enough, and it's worthwhile doing a Blue&Me update to get the car to v5.5...
 
Thanks my cars a 59 plate so do you think it's recent enough also how do you do an update. Sorry ain't very good with stuff like this.
 
Blue&Me + iPhone - problems

Hi there,

My BlueAndMe (Fiat 500 Lounge) would not transfer my iPhone 4 contacts via bluetooth. It works fine but since no contacts were copied I can't use voice dialing.
Other voice commands work just fine...

So I am frustrated because my friend (Nokia user) used voice dialing and I don't.

Please help. Thanks

I HAVE A BLUE&ME IN OUR DUCATO 08 VAN AND IT WILL NO PAIR WITH MY IPHONE 4 ANYMORE BEEN OK FOR THE LAST 4 YEARS LITTLE BLUE LIGHT NOT COMING ON ANYMORE ANY IDEAS :confused:

I do have the same problem, my garage say they can't fix it. Did you fix it and can you tell me how?
