Hello,

Currently attempting to pair a Sony Ericsson up to my Fiat 500... not happening. Can someone tell me or point me in the right direction of how to pair the phone up for use. The manual simply says "pair phone" but is the cars bluetooth always on or do I search for it through my phone? Whats the deal with the PIN codes and once it's paired is that it.
Also, will I have to go through the same kind of thing when I get my iPhone paired up through the adapter?

Thank for any help! :)

Once its paired its paired (unless you reset phones memory or cars memory)

with my evo its generally key in, dash lights up, bluetooth icon appears on the dash screen & a couple of seconds later i get "o2 stellar" (my phone) appear on the screen then its ready to go, all while the phones still in my pocket & not been touched.

I'm not sure what the 500 is like, but i assume it has voice control?

If so, press the voice button (looks like a windows icon) on the wheel, say "Help", it will then give a list of commands you can use, on my car id say: "Settings"... then it will list some commands & just press the windows button again & say Pairing, then it will come up with Pairing .... few seconds later a PIN will appear on screen (leave it there!) and then get your phone to look for bluetooth, if it finds blue&me (it should) enter the pin, car will ask to copy contacts, say yes a min later, job done, maybe different on the 500 so if you have voice control just say "Help" and use some common sense to navigate.

If theres no voice control, play around with menus & look for settings / pairing, then once the PIN has appeared on the screen search for blue&me with your phone.

And for the iPhone i gather you'll have to do it all again, and from what ive read the iphone is abit twitchy with blue&me in general at the mo.

Hope that info's of some use (im new to blue&me too, just got my car last tuesday!)

Right,here goes.....

1. On the steering wheel press the "Phone" button (bottom right on the steering wheel)
2. Scroll through with the up/down buttons untill you find "settings" and select using the "phone" button.
3. Scroll through to "pairing" and press the "phone" button again to select this option.
4. The nice B&M lady will say something like "User pairing in progress" and a four digit code will appear on the screen (she also says the code out loud)
5. Now turn on bluetooth on your phone and search for new devices, when you find one called Blue&Me press select (on your phone),you will be prompted to put in a pin,put the pin you were given by the B&M lady and your done.
6. The B&M lady will then ask if you want the contents of your phonebook transfered to your B&M,just say "yes",she will say something like "transferring in progress",once this is complete (usually takes 1-2 minutes) your done.
7. Finally, you need to make sure bluetooth is switched on on your phone when you get in the car and it will automatically connect everytime (make sure you have selected "always trust this connection" on your phones bluetooth menu.(y)

On the iphone question, yes you will have to go through this again but my iphone works great (except the message reader).

Thanks for the help guys! Got it working without the adaptor so I can make calls but eventually I'll bite the bullet and get that over-priced adaptor (anyone know ways to get it cheaper? Can you haggle with the dealers?) to play my music.

Reading the manual also tends to help :) I can assure you it doesn't just say "pair the phone" :)
Turned out I was only looking at the quick guide - not the full manual!

Hello I have just bought a 2008 panda 360 with blue tooth, only thing is nobody knows how it works.Ihave asked 3 Fiat dealers with no luck. Mine is also only in Italian. Somebody somewhere must have one of these working , I hope.
