I have this Iphone dock installed in my GP and plugged into the Blue and Me USB port.

Im just wondering if it will be ok to leave this plugged in all the time (there is a light on the dock that draws power). Does the power to the USB port switch off after the car has been locked? Just worried incase it drains the battery if left for a while?

my memory sticks like the blackpool lights and it stays on 24/7 for some reason, i cant see it draining enough power to cause any problems! i think i single led uses 0.03watts and the light it probably oone of the micro leds so could be even less then that!

the car could even have an eco mode which detects when the batterys getting low and switches everything off! im not too sure if it will have.

Are you sure it stays on 24/7? Mine has a light on it too, and it stays on when I lock the car, but goes off shortly afterwards, and then comes back on when I unlock the car.

Hi there all waiting for my Qubo to be delivered So before I decided to buy I test drove one at the local dealership tried my usb stick with music on it the sales man was unsure what to do when I pulled memory stick out if you have to safely remove hardware like on p.c got back home and tried to put more music on memory stick put it was corrupt and I was unable to reformat memory stick so had to send back to china any ideas thanks Qubo king

IIRC, Fiat Linea/GP are equipped with 'Follow me home' feature which switches off all the lights and power supply after lapse of pre-set time, viz., 30/60/120/..210 seconds after the car is locked. This is to prevent draining of car battery.

Thought i would just post an update. Ive left it plugged in for a good two weeks now and doesnt seem to have had any affect on the battery.
