Hi All,

I just got my GP 1.9 sporting today, for some reason in calls I can't be heard, I can here the other person but they can't here me?!

I also can't get any sound from the media function, It finds the files but I can't get any sound.

I can't make voice commands and I can't here the woman (if she is actually speaking at all)

Any ideas guys?

Aux input volume level on the head unit, check your manual for more info. Or if your still stuck tommorow ill give you some more instructions.

According to the dealer, It needs a reset, which he kindly said he would do for free and put an update on there (GMD in Durham).

Problem is he can't get me in till next week! I tried the disconnecting from the battery trick this morning and left it off for around 2 hours and it hasn't reset, soon as the ignition is on its connecting to my phone instantly which would indicate that the system has not been reset.

Anyone got any ideas for a reset or is it gonna be a dealer job? I'm an impatient guy and I'm quite tempted to take to the rip of merchants who are Richard Hardie who want to charge me £47.30 to reset the system!

Try the aux volume first as it may just be something that simple, else i really wouldnt pay if i didnt NEED to.

Right then, picked the car up from GMD today after having a whole new blue and me system fitted (£400). The lady who lives in the dash board speaks to me now, but seems to be ignoring me (like most women in my life!).

I picked the car up after the service desk closed so I didn't get a chance to go back in and ask why it still doesn't work.

I think the microphone may be broke, but I have no way of finding out, anyone had this problem?

A few people have had problems with the mic (from what I've seen in other threads) apparently its a common fault...

Went out this morning, and it now works like a dream, although it get confused by my northern accent!
