Hello,

I'm having some troube connecting my BlackBerry Bold to the Blue&Me system. The connection works out fine - I can make and receive calls. The problem is in contact sync. My contact names never show up. It seems, though, that the numbers have been filed by the Blue&Me System. I made a small search and found that the BlackBerry Bold 9000 is, in fact, compatible. There is a catch, though.

A page I found says - "Phone's contacts Names are not transferred correctly. Contact's associated number is transferred instead of the contact's Name." (I tried to post the address, but wasn't allowed)

Is this correct? Has anyone encountered similar problems? Is there any way to work around the issue? Perhaps a software update...

I have a Fiat Punto in Brazil.

Hi all,

Im fairly new to these forums, but thought id share this with you guys, since it was stressing me out before i picked my 500 up.

1) Pair the phone with blue and me in the normal way, but when asked to copy phone book press escape on the steering wheel (THIS IS IMPORTANT, IT WILL NOT WORK IF YOU TRY TO COPY AT THIS STAGE)

2) On the blackberry go to menu, connections and manage bluetooth.

3) select blue and me, but do not press the trackball in, just highlight it.

4) press the blackberry button and scroll to send contacts but do not press at this stage.

5) go to menu --> settings --> Add contacts on the car menu and when you press ok on the steering wheel press send contacts on the blackberry and it will send your phone book.

Presume this will work with all blackberries too, will try with my pearl later.

Hope this helps someone.

This worked for me with the Blackberry 8220 flip.

Yep, I can confirm it worked with my Bold/9000. You just have to remember to periodically delete your phonebook on B&M and then send the contacts across again if you're a frequent updater of your contacts.
