Can anyone confirm if Firmware 2.2.1 works correctly with Blue&Me.

Want someone else to be a guinea pig first, lol

Won't install it until I know it has been jailbroken OK!

I'm downloading it at the moment and will be able to confirm tomorrow after work.
According to post #56 in thread iPhone 3G Not working with Blue n Me/Contacts Not Transferring (not allowed yet to post URLs...) it should work with Blue&Me and I hope it will !!

installed and tested. It works as good as 2.2.0 from Blue&Me point of view.

So now you just have to wait for jailbreak

Hi I got the iPhone 3G Firmware 2.2.1 and its working smoothly, but I got a tiny issue which is the all phonebook can not be transferred. In general its work and its show you another choice in your iPhone screen which you can choose any method you want to speak through Blue & Me, iPhone and iPhone speaker.

I will have a look today, as normally my phone is in my coat and I don't have a look at it while in car.
All my phonebook seems to be transferred but I will have to check (more than 100 contacts so I need to check if they are all in Blue&Me)

So, does it all work, can you see all your contacts and also when someone calls does their name show?

My iphone hasn't played ball since they upgraded it to 1.1 and I've got three of the bloody things and none of them work properly. Sometimes they connect sometimes not. Given up now, gonna get the new Alpine Headunit with its Parrot BT add-on

Sorry, too much work and I forgot to post an answer
I was not able to confirm that all my contacts are in Blue&Me as I have 100 contacts on the phone, each with 2 to 4 numbers so in fact more than 250 entries to check in the car:bang:
What I can say is that is that since I upgraded iPhone to firmware 2.2.1, the name of the caller is correctly shown if in phonebook, but I only get 4 calls while in car so not a very good test...

@DTPnofolk: I was told that iPhone 1 was working well with Blue&Me with firmware >=1.1.4.

I've been using my iPhone with 2.2.1 sucessfully since it's release. It paired up straight away and copied my contacts.

However there is one small issue. When the I make my first call after it's connected there is a high pitch noise for a few seconds before you hear the the ringing. Sometimes it's really loud and can be very irritating.

Phew im not alone. What on earth is that noise!!! its like the end of the world has come.:bang::bang::bang::bang::bang:
