Hi,

I have just had a new Grande Punto and the B&M language was in Italian. I have done the language update and the voice language is now English however, the language on the display is still in Italian.

How do you change the screen language to English? i cant seem to work out a menu option to do this.

All other menus in the car like the trip computer etc are in English.

Any ideas?

You need to take it back to the dealer for an update. I got mine on tuesday and it was the same as yours. Took it in on wednesday and got it sorted. There is a known batch of wrongly programmed cars they told me after I pointed out I'd seen this on our forum. See the thread near bottom of page. Enjoy the car

is this still relevant does anyone know?

I have the same problem with a punto - spoken language was always english - but screen language for B&m is italian.

Ive uploaded the english language pack - and it seems to upload as it should - but nothing changes.

do these language packs ONLY deal with the spoken language? Im thinking that would be odd for a forien user as pretty much no one except italians can change their languages?

Im wondering if I try and change the language to like german? or french first - if the screen and voice change - then try to change back to english?

contacted Fiat dealer with my VIN code and they said they could fix with in 1/2 hour with a software update.

I have the same problem on my Abarth 500; English spoken language but Italian menu options.
Can this be changed to English by updating the B&M software?

I have the same problem with my bravo 1.4 2007 but is in polish. Just bought the car to a polish guy and the screen language is polish, I got a polish friend to try and change it to English but we couldn't find out how to do it.


I manage to change the voice to English by downloading a file in a USB stick, I thought that would be enough to change everything but it wasn't.
