hi, my media player was finding all of my tunes, but recently has started coming up as no media found when searching folders, genre, artists, etc, yet when you put in play anything, it does!!
wiped memory card, formatted it, and put tunes back on, to no avail!! i think its something to do with the media database!!
so putting it to dealership today to put blue and me back to factory settings to see if that works!!
OK!!! PROB SORTED!!!
Contacted my fiat dealer who kindly explained that my files were prob. AAC format and not mp3. He explained how to change the format on itunes, and strike me down.... he was bang on! all sorted now. cheers 4 ya help fellow members.
Open itunes and select edit then click on preferences. Now click the advanced tab then the importing sub-tab then select "import using" and change the setting to MP3 Encoder. OK this to confirm.
Now u need to select your whole library and click on advanced, then select "convert selection to MP3"
Job done! this could take some time depending on the size of your library.
Finally delete the original music file of each track cos it will be duplicated to MP3 ( you will have 2 copies of each track,1 will be MP3 and the unwanted original prob AAC). Hope this helps. shout if u need help!
thanks i done it now took me ages 4000 songs on it :bang::bang::bang::bang::bang:
