On my '57 GPS I have no Messaging menu on Blue&Me - I read some of the threads here and found that you have to install it via the USB socket. So I downloaded the install files for it, I reformatted my memory stick, copied across the 2 required files and took it out to the car.

Problem is, when I connect the USB stick to my USB port the car says "Starting Update", then 10 seconds later it says "Update failed" and the dash shows USB Error 20.

I've now tried 2 memory sticks, but always get the same problem.

Anyone have any ideas?

what 2 files,where did you get these from,when I carry this procedure out i'm sure theres 4 files?

This is what you need. There are 3 files inside the zipped folder.

Hmm, tried the 3 files, but same error. USB key works fine if I stick some MP3 files on it - they play on the stereo perfectly, so I know the USB key is compatible with the car.

Will call the dealer, see what they say...
