I've got a Nokia N95 on contract but with what things that have been said in various threads I'm gonna swap it for a Sony Ericsson s500i (just swap the sim over).

Has anyone tried a Sony Ericsson s500i with the blue & me system?

Does it work fully? 'Cos I want it to work with all the features like SMS reading, there's no point having the feature in the car if it won't be compatible with the phone! Cheers

hi tried a few sony phones and they all seem to work even the message reader

Got the same problem with my Nokia 6500 slide it will allow voice contact but not read the text messages, tried my son’s Sony Ericsson K850i that works fantastic (only good thing when receiving a call on the Nokia it does play your phones ring tone)

I had a sony ericsson K750i which worked on all b&m functions, just upgraded to Sony Ericsson W960i but it will not work with the message reader apart from that it is ok. Has anyone else got the message reader working with the W960i?
The Fiat list of compatable phones has not been updated and I am not sure where to find out if there is a firmware update for the B&M.

My B&M was not working for about a month, no blue light, no back light and the buttons when they did work just did what they wanted. Went back to the dealers twice and Fiat agreed to put in a new unit in as it faulty.
Four weeks later and they still can't get the part :bang:, but last week it all came back to life and works perfect . Anyone else had this?

My Sony Ericsson S500i works brilliantly with Blue and Me, all functions with dialling and receiving calls and including sms reader work brilliantly!!

Not sure if this is restricted solely to Sony Ericsson phones, but mine works like a treat

My Sony Erricson 595 is not working. It hangs whenever I get an incoming call. When I had some other basic Sony Erricson handset, the Blue and Me worked totally fine.
