Hi All,

Just wondering if any one knows anything about Cooling fan.
The temp. gauge in the car goes above the middle line.
When I checked to see if the fan had come on it had not.

I was wondering how does the fan work or is the temp gauge
reading it wrong.

The radiator fan is operated off the thermostatic switch. Depending on model this is either in the radiator or in the thermostat on the cylinder head.

The temp guage is operated from a temperature sensor usually on the end of the cylinder head. This also tells the ECU the temp and so affects the fuel/air mix.
