Might as well get this section off 2 a start by shamelessly plugging the FIAT Motor Club (GB)
Visit http://www.fiatmotorclubgb.com 4 more info.
The club organises events and participates in shows all over the UK including the Classic Car Show and the Auto Italia Trackfest day. This is on top of many local events and trips abroad. U get 12 magazines a year which feature many articles and contact details of dealers and parts suppliers as well as a classified ads section.
For an annual fee of £25 u get the magazines, a car sticker and joint membership 4 u & ur spouse/partner. Membership also gets u deals on parts and entry in2 certain events.
They cater 4 every single FIAT model made since Fabricca Italiana di Automobili Torino (FIAT) started in 1899 and there r experts 4 each model who regularly give advice and tips and welcome contact from fellow members.
All of this and discounted RAC membership and reduced insurance premiums mean that membership is a must 4 any FIAT nut.

Look 4ward 2 c'ing new members soon,

Rob.

Paul,

Basically I'm after a lot of interior trim, due to making my car into an SPL car. I've not done much modification to it, but when you are putting in/taking out 4 batteries, 6 amps, a 200+kg box, etc it causes some wear and tear.

I'll join the Club asap.

Does any one know what happened to the FMC has it just failed and run its course, I was a memeber years ago and it lost its way then, a mate tried to rejoin recently only to be told the details listed on line are incorrect and they could not supply current details on how to join.
We have tried various people and magazines and they cannot give out any new details maybe it has died.

:yeahthat:

Still going strong and contact info via Dave's link looks ok. (y)

If there are any magazines with incorrect contact info, please let me know which ones. Auto Italia is correct, but wrong info may be elsewhere.

Also let me know if you have trouble still please, and I'll get onto it.

thank you folks for your answers however the detials are the one`s we have used.
Peter Jones was telephoned and he said not to send any thing he is 80 and cannot do any thing any more the address was also wrong so dont use it.
back to square one. :bang:
doesnt bother me a whole amount as I will soon be living in Scotland and joining up with that area but my mate has a Fiat 850 saloon and would like to chat to other owners it isnt his first 850 so he knows abit about them.

Please PM me with details of exactly what was said, so that I can investigate. Peter is the info contact and the address on the link is correct, so I don't understand.

He may have said that the application form is on the website (which it is), someone can write with details (you don't need a form), or join over the phone by giving him the card details. He tends not to send application forms out as it's a waste of time - 100s go out and he never hears from people again.

Anything less helpful and I need to know, or can't rectify it.

Many thanks (y)
