Rescued

Posted 22-09-2012 at 12:10 by Tim Stiles

As a new member I thought some of you would be interested in my latest rescue....a classic 1984 4 x 4 Panda.(commercial, ie 2 seats only)
It was looking very sad indeed, in a field with grass growing up around it, a cardboard sign with AV 500 euros in the screen.
I haggled for it (300 euros eventually!) and only then realised as it was going onto the car trailer, it was actually 4 x 4.

I got it going in 10 minutes, but it needed a head gasket/head face job first. Amazingly,...

The promised photos

Posted 29-11-2008 at 17:37 by new2panda

As promised, here are a few photos of my 1990 Panda 750L that I rescued from my local scrap yard. As you can see the body work is fantastic, just one small dink under the passenger side rear window next to the wheel arch. It has been touched up, just to keep the rust off it. Underneath is fantastic, and the exhaust looks quite new. The old guy who had it drove it in and said that he did not want to spend any money on it for an MOT as he had already bought a newer car.

Sisley sticker added, spare wheels on

Posted 11-06-2007 at 18:54 by gaz.d (gaz_wrexham's Panda Sisley)

Ever since the rust on the drivers door was fixed, it had been missing a 4x4 sisley transfer.

I got a pair from a member on this forum back in Feb and decided to fit them yesterday

I had a spare one and needed somewhere to put it. I decided to put it on the bonnet -

Unsure if I like it on the bonnet,...
