Eper gets turbocharged

Posted 27-05-2010 at 22:06 by ben (A day in the life of the FIAT Forum)

Well I finally got around to doing it, EPER no longer runs off its slow and unstable built in webserver - I've completely converted it to IIS.

So gone are the days of "too many connections" and suchlike

I've still got version 20 on at the moment, which I will test for a week or so - but assuming that all works, we'll get upgraded to 5.3 when I get back to the UK

In the meantime, please use and abuse it as much as you can and please...

Easy Shortcuts

Posted 15-05-2010 at 17:51 by ben (A day in the life of the FIAT Forum)

Due to people never being able to find the guides, faqs and downloads (to name a few things) - I thought it was finally time to make the more prominant.

So now, on each of the forum display pages, there is now a "Shortcut" bar - with direct links to the relevant model options (they will obviously only display if such an option exists).

I now think though the top of the forum looks a bit cluttered, might have to do something about that....

Social Group Notifications

Posted 05-03-2010 at 13:27 by ben (A day in the life of the FIAT Forum)

You'll see a new notification counter in the "Notification Dropdown" called "Social Groups" which tells you how many of your (joined) groups have new messages.

The groups with new messages are the bolded ones and once you've read all messages in the group (or used the "mark group as read") this will then clear down.

I know a lot of you had been asking for it - so there you go

Welcome Sir Monty

Posted 03-03-2010 at 18:56 by ben (A day in the life of the FIAT Forum)

Andy Monty joins T as a co-moderator for the GP section and will hopefully even out the "grumpyness" of our dearly beloved

T also replaces Ozzy in the Doblo section - heaven help us all

Downloads Library Online

Posted 27-02-2010 at 13:43 by ben (A day in the life of the FIAT Forum)

Finally, after a lot of procrastination I've got the downloads library online.

For now, it's just all the user manuals for the current model FIATs, but we'll be adding to this over time as more documents become available.

http://www.fiatforum.com/downloads.php

It can also be found in the "Members Zone" section on the forum
