Well we tried people - but in the end it seems the groups just weren't integrated enough to keep people interested and thus just got quieter and quieter.

It's all rather complicated why we came around to needing them in the first place - however what's done is done.

Now, we've implemented something now which we said we would never do. But bear in mind THIS IS EXPERIMENTAL.

There is now a new prefix to use in the model sections for OT discussions, aptly named "Off Topic"

Whilst it would still be preferred you keep main chatter to the Leisure Lounge, if there is something you really only want to discuss or natter about with your model local chums, then this is now the prefix to use.

If some things are seen as of interest to the masses, then the moderators (at their discretion) might move your thread to the LL - however a redirect would be left there in its place.

We are also thinking about moving OT threads to the LL automatically after a period of inactivity (or even still active, just to get more people involved) - however we will cross that bridge when we come to it.

It depends on what damage / if any having localised OT threads do to the LL and the forum in general.

So in the meantime, let's get that intimate chatter going again - remember, the forum is a wonderful and friendly place
