    The donor Thema used a Bosch system not the Magnetti Marrelli thing. I don't think there is any reason that Sumplug would have changed it from standard.

    Ok, just answer a few points in one swoop... the car is keeping the injection system I don't want to go messing with carbs if i can help it.

    more than enough the rod is extended beneath the arm at the moment... as of this time i don't think it requires rebuilding but then i haven't seen it move either yet.

    enough to meet the clutch fork lever, if not then the foork may not have the right release bearing inside the bell housing. But if its all tipo and andy put the release bearing in then it should be ok. Clean up the cylinder first and bleed the system.

    If you are going carbs then you will need a low pressure fuel pump not the efi one currently there.

    Question time

    You clutch slave is mounted different to mine, but the cylinder is the same. The rebuild kei is a round 60p it has a new boot, clip and piston seals. Never buy those cylinders just rebuild them (fiat parts). You need to see if the bullet end of the piston comes out far.....

    F.....This wire im fairly certain its for the oil pressure guage switch near the oil filter.....

    D....... Try bleeding the clutch, If that dont work you may have to pull the piston out of the slave cylinder and clean it up as it could well be siezed..

    C..... this is you main fuel intake pipe from your tank, if you are putting carbs on you need this so dont blank it, You may need to chop it and extend it for a set of carbs...

    B...... No you cant bin this either again unless your putting carbs on... This valve is to do with the Fuel Pressure Regulator... One of the pipes connects from this valve to the regulator and the other, a really long pipe i may add connects to the Auxilliry air valve located on the cylinder head near the distributor

    hi tony.....Hope this is of some help mate.

    A.....
    No you cannot bin unless you are putting carbs on... Did you notice it has Ford stamped on it..... It is a re-circulating Valve for the emmition control the other 2 connections on the valve are for 1 blue pipe which should be located near the valve (goes on top connection), And the bottom connection is a black thin pipe which connects to the underneath the throttle body..

    I suspect that i have a cam belt in the glove compartment... I haven't had time to check it to confirm, there's also a 'V' belt which i'm guessing it for the ancillaries (water/steering pump).

    I may get a chance to look next weekend... touch wood.

    Gah...I remember that Dizzy cap (I helped Sumplug with that last summer). 'Farce that was.

    Still in need of a cambelt?...because last thing I knew, it was removed using a knife in fustration cos we needed to get the cams out to sort the distributor take-off.

    Looks shinier than when I last saw it...looking really clean there externally, the interior is also pretty damn good. Musta dmit I was sorely tempted myself, although I hadn't got the space and couldnt warrant a 2.0 's running costs.
