Help please - I need to win a bet at work....

I know it is the wrong time of year to estimate how many B's there are on the road in the UK but I hardly ever see any over in sleepy Suffolk. I guess most are tucked away in garages waiting for the sunshine.....

Does anyone have a 'contact' at the DVLA or access to 'certain' vehicle information to give me an approximate clue to the question?

I would be suprised if there were > 500? Out of how many cars in total?

DVLA may release the info under the freedom of information act, best to write but it may also charge for the service. I have recently seen about 5 or 6 in the Swindon area so I would estimate alot more that 500.

I heard a figure of 300 or so about a few years back. Can't remember where that figure was from though.

May have applied to an on the road figure which wouldn't account for garaged cars.
