Hi Folks

Just thought I would post some pics of my new leather job on the seats and a pic of the new alloys as the car is actually clean for a change:)

The flash on the camera makes a few of the shots look a bit washed out but you'll get the idea.

Cheers

Jon

Thanks guys

The door cards were already like that when I bought the car.

I was originally thinking of getting the job done at DTR until I was put onto Transcal in Livingston (just outside edinburgh). They have a huge range of leather options. At first, I thought of getting some ot the seat panels in blue but settled on all black with blue stitching (thought it May be a blue overload otherwise:) ).

I think the icing on the cake is the barchetta logo embroidery on the seats. It's all in blue although in the photo it looks like blue and white. Came in at £760 which is a little more expensive than DTR but I obviously saved a fortune on petrol....30 mile round trip compared to 800! and you do get a lot more in the way of options. Transcal also do heated seats for about an extra 180 but i couldn't stretch that far after having all my pads and discs replaced when the alloys went on.....always something.

Would recommend Transcal. They can get the job done in a day with sufficient notice.

Cheers

They can do the steering wheel and gear gaitor as well. gear gaitor is thrown in if you go for seats, heating and steering wheel. Unfortunately, all that lot would take about a week as transcal are at the mercy of electrician types when it comes to the heating.

From memory the steering whewl was 85 plus vat. probably get that done at a later date.

Thanks for sharing - saving my pennies now. Hmmm new seats, cards, heating, steering wheel, gear knob & gater. I am getting way too excited!

Damn!

I do love this car.

Can't wait until the summer months so I can get the hood down. Doing a tour of france in September in the B. Should be awesome. Will obviously take plenty of pics.
