Thanks for the reply, I know the PCD is 4x98 and had to get wobbly bolts to fit the new alloys on which are 4x100 pcd. The thing I don't understand then is the Venoms that were on without wobbly bolts fit perfectly on both cars? If they are 100 I would have thought that they would wobble like hell when at motorway speed as they wouldn't centre properly?

This is the 1.4 civic that is a copy of the rover 400 or vice versa.

surely you'd need to make sure that the hub centre diameters are the same... ? otherwise you'd end up with the bolts possibly shearing.

civic details
Civic after 00 PCD: 4x100 ET:35 to 45 Bore:56.1
Civic / CRX PCD: 84 to 00 4x100 ET:35 to 38 Bore:56.1
Civic 1.8 / Aerodeck 97 to 01 PCD: 4x114.3 ET:35 to 38 Bore:64.1
Civic Type R after 01 PCD: 5x114.3 ET:45 Bore:64.1
CR-V after 95 PCD: 5x114.3 ET:38 to 45 Bore:64.1

Barchetta details
PCD: 4x98 ET: 35 to 38 Bore: 58.1

so... from those details courtesy of alloyguide.co.uk you've got 2mm play on the centers...

That's what I don't understand Tony although I now get the impression that the venoms are 100 pcd and must have been shoehorned onto the Barchetta but I had them on and off a couple of times for the bearings to be changed etc and they didn't appear wrong

Anyway as a result he will get the benefit of them when refurbed.

it's certainly close enough for spacers to be made easily... and opens up a huge selection of alloys.
