As i was taking off the base of the ash tray i managed to cut the cable to the "alarm" light.The problem is that i cant find where it was connected!I can see two sets of cables passing near the gear stick ,one that has a lot of cables for the windows etc and one with 3 cables that go all the way back to handbreak.
I cant find any loose connection.Can anyone help plz

Do you have an alarm on your B ?

I've got an alarm status light fitted behind the ashtray on my b. It came with the Toad alarm.

Unfortunately I can't help with the wiring problem. The alarm was fitted for me.

My B is a 99 model,i bought her 3 months ago.I think the "alarm light" works when the central locking is activated,i am sure its a fake alarm light.The true alarm light (i have a GEMINI alarm) is located elsewere.

I say this as I have the little light you are talking about but I dont have an alarm on my B at the mo.
