I need to pull around a fairly light load only over short distances - no more than 200Kg. None of the top google hits for 'towbar barchetta' list the B (shocker!)

So - thoughts/comments please!! Is it feasible?

Buy a van it will ruin the look of the car. There are specialists that will make tow bars for any vehicle anchor are very cheap as well but i refer to the first paragraph.

Just thinking if there are any company's that do removable ones if i find any i'll let you know.

It can be done as I saw one in Germany with a tow bar. I will not comment on the words I said out loud when I saw it.

Hi folks - just thought i would add my two penneth worth. anything can be done with the right tools/ know how. be careful though cos the EU jobs worth have put limitations on what can toe:bang: . if registeredafter 97 (i think) the cr has to be listed by the manufacturer at the testing stage and a towing capacity assigned then it is tested. If you hav 1 made offit one that is not ec approved then you are breaking the law and plod in blue can be a bugger if he notices.

Hi just bought a Barchetta but have also got a Toyota mr2 mk 2 to which i had a towbar fitted no problems-it pulls a light traier a treat and makes a sports car very practical-go for it-i love the look on peoples faces when i over take them towing!

Not taken the plunge yet... weighing up my options and a cheap old van will probably win out over molesting my B !!!
