I just bought this lovely car this evening, it need a few bits doing but i got it cheep enough and with a hard top woooooo :)

what I'd like to know is if anyone knows where i can get an insert for the speedo to make it MPH. I know DTR do them but im just after a DIY set, Ive had a look on ebay with no sucess, if anyone knows any advice would great!

DTR seem to want a bit much for such a little thing, also getting there is a bit tricky for me because i live 250 miles away! (hmmm now whats that in KM:chin: )

I've been looking on the net and all i can find is a company in germany that make the KM/H dials that are lit up in blue, they look great and I'm getting use to the the KM/h thing 100 is 60, 50 is 30 etc but I REALLY want an MPH speedo.

I bumped into a guy in my local tesco car part a few week ago who had a yellow Barchetta and got chatting to him, (Im not sure if he's on here or not) and i recall him saying he had just done the speedo himself with a cover he got from the net somewhere... I just dont remember where he said though :bang:

I was looking at the blue dials on eBay and sent off an email asking if I could get a set of blue heater dials 2, the reply was not at this time. No point getting blue dials if you cant change them all, It will look crap half green and half blue!!

If you would like blue mph dials but only if you can get the heater set as well send the bloke on ebay an email, if enough people ask him he will get some made.

Already emailed him about making an MPH set of dials and got a reply saying he doesnt make them. I didnt mention the heater dials at the time but I'll metion it in the "thank you for your time, if you do get them...." reply.

I didnt realise how few and far parts are for this car, Fiat dealers are totally useless with anything and i cant seem to find many other suppliers on the net.

Best place is ebay.de but make sure you pay with paypal as bank charges for sending money is silly £10-£20 plus the person selling the parts must be ok with sending things to the UK.

I am after a set of front wishbones for my B and Fiat UK want £80 each, on eBay.de its £30 but I am yet to find anyone who will take paypal.

Parts are hard to find, I am looking at getting a crashed B at some point as well as looking for someone who is after a few parts to go halfs on a crashed B so it keeps costs down.

A full on crashed front end B will go for £800 - £1500 depending on spec, damage and age.
