Hello. I lowered the right window, fully, and it refuses to come back up. I listened to the green relay box beneath the passenger's dash, and it makes a 'click' when I fully retract the left window. When I do the same with the right, no noise at all. I've taken the door panel off and checking the motor and glass riser, all appears ok - still well covered in grease and rust/water free. What do you think? It perplexes me - I can't budge the window to raise it manually and fix it in the 'up' position. I would be grateful for any advice.
Thank you for looking

Hi
Did you check to see if the motor was getting power 2 it ?

Do you have electric mirrors or central locking ? If so does the broken window door mirror or lock still work? Its just that the window wiring is on the same main connecter thats just inside the car under the dash by the speaker.

Thanks for the reply - both the right hand mirror and the central locking work fine. in fact, you have to apply the central locking in order to get the door panel off. My hope (!), is that the relay may be damaged, at £44.00 it's the cheapest remedy. Alternatively, it's the winding mechanism - the motor. Does anybody know whether this is a motor used on other FIAT vehicles? I could then see if I could get one from a breaker's?
Thank you for any help

I've just had a look at Doc's wiring diagrams and both windows are on the same fuse. Worryingly the windows have their own ECU located above the passenger footwell. Could be that part of the ECU has packed up. - or a loose connection.

Wiring diagrams are on the Doc's website.

Cheers
Doog.
