Hi all,
still looking at lowering the barchetta, looking at 35mm apex springs.
However, has anyone else noticed that the barchetta seems to sit higher at the front than at the back???
Dont really want to lower it too much more as i dont want to have to do any arch work.
However, i did find springs, from germany, from novitec and a company called cobra that lower the front more than the rear, to try to level the car out, and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with any of these springs?
Thanks

OZ

novitec for me are a better brand plus they specialise in fiat/alfa/ferrari.
such as them stocking lowering springs with different front/rear drop.
to me that sounds like a specifically designed kit (y)
sure thers nothing worng with apex but gven the choice and budget i would go for novitec

How's your German?
There's a German Forum where this topic is frequently adressed.

The front is indeed 'springed' higher than the rear.

I'd like a lowered kit with -1.5cm front and -1cm rear and only slightly uprated.
This way you can safely use uprated shocks [colin chapman was one of the advocates of relatively soft springs and stiffers shocks] and still have some driving comfort and more forgiving road-hold.

The least lowered i've found is -2cm offered by a local [Dutch] shop [make unknown]. Or -2.5cm H&R Federn Germany.

Hope this gives you at least some clue...
