On a inspection of my CV Boots. The Inner Off Side CV Boot has hairline cracks on the concertina rubber. Thinking of changing. Am I to believe once I have removed the outer stub shaft and outer CV boot assembly I can just unbolt the inner CV Boot as the rubber seems bonded to the bolted flange, without the need of pulling the full shaft out of the gearbox to change?

Bought a complete half shaft from well known supplier for offside with both cv joints and cv boots. Seems to make sense having both new cv joints and boots as will not need to touch again anytime soon.

Yes going the whole way is often a better option even if more expensive.

You say purchased from "well known supplier". I think should and can name that supplier for other "B" owners to relate to. Doing so is not (I believe) against any rules and will be of benefit to other "B" owners.

You would not be advertising or recommending or etc. but just stating a purchase fact!

They only do the offside half shaft complete for the B which I have bought. The near side in component parts only which are not expensive.
Purchased from them before with my Coupe and Alfa’s. Never had a problem with the quality.
