Does anyone have any advice on removing and refitting the ABS unit? I've added a pic of mine.

Is it just a case of undoing all the bolts, refitting the new one and then bleeding the system?

Or is there more to it? Also, the nuts on the lines going into the unit must have been tightened up by the hulk! I'm worried they are going to round off. OK to apply heat?

I've no experience of doing it myself but the process is covered in the service manual which you can get from here https://www.fiatforum.com/downloads.php?do=download&downloadid=416

If you've not done it already then you need to download all of the RAR files and then use a tool like 7Zip to combine the RARs and then extract all of the PDF files from the combined RAR file

The actual file is '33 ABS Page 1-24.pdf' and the procedure starts on page 20

CAUTION! Looking at your ABS unit the Banjo Union Bolts have notches cut into the hex head apexes. This often indicates a LEFT HAND THREAD which could be why you think they have been done up by the Hulk!
Thank you for this, I didn't know that and it's definitely one to file away for future reference.

Thanks but not tried the notched ones yet. I thought I could disconnect the unit with the (hulked) nuts that's are on the brake line going in to the unit and leave those notched ones untouched?
