Hello Fiat/Barchetta experts,

I am new to the forum and I wonder if any of you have had a similar problem. The radio, interior light, cigarette lighter and clock have all stopped working. I know they are on the same circuit. I have checked fuse 12 and it is OK, except there is no power feed to the fuse. This must mean that either a wire has broken or there is a bad earth. The car is a 2005 model with very low miles (~37K) and corrosion free. I make the last point because it makes me think that a bad earth is unlikely. Any thoughts on where to look for the wiring fault?

Peter

This you may already know but I say anyway:

In the 2003/2005 "B" fuse number 10, 15A powers the internal light, clock, remote receiver (if fitted), radio, lighter, boot light, cowling/hood warning buzzer.

Fuse 10 is in the main fuse box and powered via the internal 12V back plane. The back plane get its power from the a power feed with large WHITE/RED wire.

This WHITE/RED (BR) feed comes via Fuse 4 in Maxi-Fuse Box on which is mounted on the battery +ve terminal.

I suggest you check ALL the fuses in the Maxi-Fuse box and work from there.

Hi, yes, I was fooled by the 'audio system' label on the fuse box cover. The fault was in the fuse next to that one. Replaced the dud fuse and all works again. Not sure why the fuse blew but sometimes they fail for no apparent reason. Thanks for your advice.
