I have a luggage rack, I think it's an original Barchetta one, but the fixings are missing. Does anyone know where I can purchase a set of fixings? Thanks in advance IMG_20200719_163237913.jpegIMG_20200719_163216995.jpeg

That looks like an original Fiat "B" Boot Rack.

The whole product part number was 5908189

Sadly I do not have a breakdown off all the fitting part numbers.

What you are missing is the rubber coated clamps and bolts, washers, rubber compression spacers and cover caps.

Certainly not available from Fiat.

I also forget that there are 4 rubber feet, 4 foot insert plates and four fish plate to add to the list of missing parts.

My wife bought the original Fiat "B" rack and it looked great on the car and remained fitted to the car for quite a few years. Sadly we had some bubbling paint reoccur so removed the rack. In reality the rack was only used a couple of times. Anyway whilst it was off for the boot paint lid job I recently got the rack legs, fish plates and foot insert plates all stripped, blasted and powder coated.

Now we won't be refitting the rack until needed. So the cool look/styling is no longer a permanent feature. Also fitting the rack is a fiddly job. You just can't whack it on as clearances are tight and the adjustment degrees of freedom make the whole process an interesting puzzle.

That is why I like to the boot bag solution. It has everything all in one package but is no way as cool looking as the pucker Fiat sleek rack and fittings.

Boot bag looks good, but as you say, nowhere near as cool as the original Barchetta rack. I'll keep looking for the fittings. They have got to be available somewhere

Yes. Were it not for the registration that would be our "B".

Note how the boot rack has been put on correctly with luggage restraint bar to the front.

So many convertibles put their racks the other way. So easy to get decapitated in an accident when the straps let go.
