Not seen an article on here about Barchetta engine mounts so ,as im still in lockdown here in Spain, thought id take off the left engine mount, just to have a look at it, as ive not taken it off before !!!
So compartively simple to do, 3 bolts on mount to engine, and 3 on bush to chassis.
Thankfully no sheered bolts or set backs.
In the underside of the bush could see a slight tear, (photo)
So thought id try and stiffen it back up again, well it is nearly 25 years old. Can i say its in great nik for 25.
So squeazed in both sides some polyurethane, product like window weld, think it has a shoreD of about 30, so more resistant than air but not excessive !
So what do you think guys ?? Something positive or not ?
Will i feel any differance when driving ?

I changed the rear mount on the gearbox, stopped some vibration and generally felt much better.

Have lockdown fun, at least we can go out a bit tonight!

Just tried to take the right, passenger mount off but its impossible to remove the mount. Its 2 allen key bolts, 1 nut.Could not get access to allen nut as crank pulley in the way, and im not taking that off.
Then thought about just taking the bush nut off and then raising the chassis to clear the end of the mount ?
But alas no, didnt manage that.
So put it back together.
