Hi, its finally coming together, after much administrative grief and 5 months of constant outgoings, the "bargain" barchetta that I bought has finally passed the ITV (MOT). Most things seems to be working well, its drives really nicely, smooth in general, except...... on some occasions when accelerating out of a roundabout in second gear, it stumbles, misses a few beats then picks up its skirts and charges off into the distance.

Pretty much all other conditions it behaves fines, just under turning force and slow speed acceleration it coughs. Has anyone got any ideas where I should start looking?

I have already ran a tank of injector cleaner through and it seemed to get a bit better, but not right.

Thanks all in advance..

Perfect will do, thanks, BTW, its just wonderful here right now to be out in the little barchetta, got a brand new hood fitted but not used it yet!!

Sorted, new mechanic new view on life. Basically two spark plugs were lose, water in another plug seat, all changed, all cleaned and now she flies, bloody fantastic, feels like a new engine.

Great now, but can anyone think how one of the sockets had water in?
