Hi all, so is read the thread re removing the he the panel and getting to the circuit board. My panel works okay for the fuel and temp, no revs at all and Speedo very random.

Can someone tell me how to identify a dry solder joint and what exactly to do to repair the circuit board? Kindda assume no real experience, I can use a soldering iron but certainly no expert, thanks very much in advance.

Or, can anyone recommend a repair specialist I can post the whole unit to?

Just take out the board and resolder everything you can safely access.

You can first inspect with magnifying glass, but not always will you be able to see the cracks.
I once made this mistake and now my speedo still dies every now and then - something a good power slap magically heals.

Hi, re soldered everything, not too difficult after all, thanks for the help. Now the Speedo is great, but the rev counter is still dead. Where do I need to search now, sender? Is this sourced by the ECU? Cheers in advance for any suggestions..

Yes, it comes directly from the ECU, so unlikely to be missing...I had the same and couldn't find the fault, but I did check there was a pulse train reaching the circuit board with an oscilloscope. In the end I got a used rev counter from barchettaparts.com for not too much money. I then swapped over the rev counter circuit board and it worked straight away [emoji3]
