Cam belt cover bolt?

I'm about to fit a new cam belt cover seal, which the previous owner had discarded during the installation of new cam belt & water pump...But, the top mounting bolt for the plastic cover is also missing. According to ePer the cover is fixed with three different length of bolts, M6x28, M6x25 and M6x45. Which one is the correct length for the uppermost bolt?

Re: Cam belt cover bolt?

Having just done a cam belt change myself I think it is the shorter M6x25. Could be a 28. The 45 is used lower down.

I'm assuming you have once of each so just try each in turn.
