Well, thats it for another year. My B is wrapped up for the next 6 months.
Battery disconnected from car and charged every month.
Tyres blown up to 45 psi.
Wiper blades removed.
Covered in lots of blankets.
Night night my beauty, see you next year!

now there's a guy who loves his car. This Sunday we, my friend Fred, and our wives, are taking our last trip for the year with the local Fiat club. it's called "the fall colours ride", and is always very enjoyable. We check out the changing leaves, stop at a very nice restaurant for lunch, and then our two Barchettas, will be tucked away in a warm ,roomy shop till spring. It's a good time catch up on the list of seemingly endless things to do .

Dunno really. I do have stands but have always just blown up the tyres. I bet that most people who have car collections don't even bother!

I had my punto garaged a while ago for a couple of years, never bothered with stands it’s a pain if you want to move it just to keep the brakes free , only thing I would say is the blankets as they will absorb moisture depending on how cold the garage gets , I use a lightweight thin cover and leave the windows open slightly to allow air movement [emoji1303]

Put mine to bed for the winter, but as mentioned earlier I like to roll it out every month.

I thought someone might bring this one up, Steve "only thing I would say is the blankets as they will absorb moisture depending on how cold the garage gets , I use a lightweight thin cover and leave the windows open slightly to allow air movement

My theory is that many blankets insulate the car from the temperature fluctuations that a single brick, un-insulated garage suffers in the winter. Bottles of wine and beer in the garage get condensation on them sometimes, especially after a few frosty days and then the temperature suddenly goes up to +8*c. Been doing this for 20 years with no problem. Many years ago I had to keep it outside for 3 months under a car cover, the steering wheel and roof lining went white & furry!
