according to windows, the drivers for the cable are correct and are updated, download version 2.7 r1 connected and again error !!! I changed latencies and always the same result, error !!!

it seems that MES can not read some air bag ecu with model number terminated in 98 , you will find good information there .

have you tryed to conect with engine ECU ?

The dealer diagnosed me fault in the right pretensioner a few months ago.

so they did get to comunicate with air bag ecu in the past !! and now they don't !?

Quick fix above for MOT..link airbag light to ABS light if you have ABS. Fix it at a later date

you could also bypass the airbag light with the engine control light

I have removed the lamp from the control panel to pass the technical inspection of the vehicle in next days I will disassemble the centtalita to make checks in centtalita and wiring. I do not know if the connection of the cable for diagnosis with multiscan has had something to do with it

find a used one with same part number !?
try to get that one repair !?
or simply give up on the airbag system and keep runing the car !?
