Technical Inner anti roll bar bushes

Hi,

I'm changing all the front anti roll bar bushes as they are perished, the outer ones were easy enough, the inner ones are inside a pressed bracket, that needs separating...anyone got any tips as to how to split while on the bar without doing too much damage?

If I remember right the bracket is spot welded together, I used a cold chisel to separate them. Didn't take much to separate, just a couple of light taps with a hammer.

Job done today (my holiday got it the way) with some ' light taps', and an easy job. The old ones were perished, but it didn't help a low speed quiet knock from the front rh side when going over small bumps ...i'll have to look elsewhere...I would say lower ball joint, but it looks like it's been changed recently (but the wishbone hasn't oddly)
