Hallo. I have a Fiat Baretta from 1995. Very nice car, but I have a problem. This very hot summer my gazoline is "boiling" in the tank, and when gazoline gets hot it expands, and I have gazoline dripping out of the tank. I smells and is is dangerous. I have had the valves cleaned, i have changed the filter but none of this had any effect. Does anyone have the same experience, and does anyone have a solution?

Best regards Søren for Copenhagen, Denmark

Hi Søren. If you have a look at previous posts under the heading “ fuel smell “ there has been quite a lot written on this subject. In my case it was the seals on top of the fuel tank that leaked vapours as the tank pressurised.
Good look.

Dave.
