Hi,
Just discovered the website www.howmanyleft.co.uk and entered the Barchetta. Interestingly the Barchetta is put into 2 lumps covering the gap in production. Adding the 2 results together gave 400 cars on sorn and 513 licenced total 913 in the UK.
Must be loads more in Europe.

I don't give much credibility to "How many left" site ,although they take their

figures from DVLA.

How about 1000 Fiesta RS1800s left from a production run of 500 cars ?..

Very old information now as there is probably now 5 RS1800s left now.

I don't spend much time in mainland Europe but usually see 1 B per trip.

It's common knowledge amongst Ford fanboys that only 500 were produced.

They haven't quoted actual figures from Ford on that site .just an unlucky guess.

Looks to me like 134 left, with only a max of 719 registered back in 1994.

But what do I know ...

Always seemed like fairly accurate figures to me.

I can't find any source for the Fiesta RS production figures .

Many say 500 produced ,others say 500 were produced in one colour ,which I doubt very much.

The 500 Pop Star was at 2800 alone in 2017.

Don’t forget some owners only have their B on the road for six months of the year. So the figures could overlap. It’s impossible to count.

The figures are shown quarterly, so there shouldn't be any real overlap. When the numbers are given you're either taxed or SORN.

Think the site is quite accurate for the punto gt , knowing the amount of owners in the gt club and the few that are sadly getting broken and scrapped every year.

It may be unfair to the guy running it to criticise the Howmanyleft website. If you use the link shown when you see results - 'how accurate is this data?' - he explains the risks pretty well.
If you want to see the official stats go to gov.uk to find vehicles statistics - I checked table VEH0120 to see licensed cars by make & model & on rows 8627 & 8 found our 2 models clearly enough (because someone at Dept for Transport decided the facelift Barchetta is '16v' - as if the original wasn't ). Looking for Fiat 500 though, there are over 200 rows for all the differentiated models!

Data is quarterly, so currently to Sep 2017; next due to be published in April when we can expect to see numbers at Dec 2017 (less than 500 B's on the road by then I would guess).

So, Barchettas are an even more endangered species than Pandas. Whoda thunk it.
