I have a Fiat 500 diesel recently when the car heats up to the correct heat the car starts smoking, it’s a white dense smoke more like steam and usually lasts 5-10 minutes but there’s a lot of it. I have had the car checked and no one can find anything wrong With it but there must be something! Has anyone heard of this before with fiats?

If it has a secondary cabin heater it may be that (they burn a small amount of diesel). We have a Chrysler GV which does it. But try the 500 forum as well.

Hi I've a similar problem.
Have had a full DPF regen and full service and she's still smoking. Been 4 days and still blowing smoke!

Did anyone give you any ideas? all i can see is that the DPF is constantly regenerating and using excess fuel to burn away carbon (according to posts on tinterweb) but i don't understand why the car would still be doing that given that i've just had it fully done by the garage.

Hi,
You are in the Barchetta section of the Fiat Forum, try re-posting in the Fiat 500 (modern model not classic) and hopefuly someone will help.
Barchettas don’t have a DPF so less chance of an answer here.
Good luck
