Hi
I have looked on the service manual for my crankshaft sensor, but still can't locate it. Can someone send a photo of it in the engine so I can locate it? Behind the exhaust camshaft pulley and other descriptions don't help me, sorry.
It is the type without the cable.
One mechanic said he has to strip out the timing belt to do it, which I dont really think is necessary
And is it something I can replace easily myself from inside the engine.
Thanks very much and happy new year?

i never knew this existed, I have looked but did not see the page with the sensor on it, but very useful, thanks

Yes, thanks. It was very interesting, but I still didn't see the crankshaft sensor on any page, maybe I didn't know what section to look under :-(

I have tried to add two photos . see if they help

yes, that helps very much, it confirms that I need to take it to a mechanic who can put it on a ramp to access it :)
I don't think I can access it from the ground
