Having owned our 'B' since 2009 and only having done 1300kms in the last 2 years we are reluctantly selling her. Time for someone to get the use and pleasure of owning a dark blue Barchetta. First registered 1996 and just shy of 230,000kms she is not concours, but very useable. Currently in southwest France, (cheap flights to Toulouse) and on French plates. She was first registered in Germany, then taken to the UK and in '09 imported to France. Newish tyres, mohair hood from Monsoon Hoods in Sussex with a made to measure cover from Cover-Zone. Spare pair of headlights and a new battery. OIRO £2750.

230,000 kms is a goodly amount ,more than mine on 127,000 miles.

Good luck with the sale, Try advertising on leboncoin.fr, I have seen a few for sale over the last couple of years at around 6000Euro. Living north of you I am tempted to buy as a sister car to mine but unfortunately retired and no spare cash. SteveD

Barchetta Bloke and Steve, it is a shame we are selling, but only 1300kms in two years? Not fair on the car really, she deserves to be used and enjoyed. I'm reluctant to try leboncoin as there are so many scare stories about scams via the site. I have advertised her on here, angloinfo and a local classic car group on fb, so will see how it goes.

We have had our B for over 10 years and the total mileage (it was supplied new in the UK) is about 55,000. In the last two years it has done no more than 400 miles. I love the car but either I am too busy with other things or in the summer it can be so hot that I prefer use a car with air con, must be getting soft in my old age.
It was used four times this year just for local trips and with the cost of insurance it works out at about €50 a drive! I really should sell her but Mrs P is reluctant to see it go. She is tucked away in a Carcoon now but might sell in the Spring - seem to remember saying that last year and the year before that!
