Hi Forum, I have just had my timing belt and water pump replaced, now I have discovered that my windscreen washer is leaking. The question of course is does the mechanic go anywhere near the washer system when he does the above work?

Do you know where the leak is ?

Maybe a hose has been pulled off ?

The washer bottle is of course the opposite side under the bonnet to the belt

and pump but anything's possible....

Cheers Barchetta Bloke, left wheel is wet so I guess the container has cracked, can't look 'till the weekend,don't have a garage and the nights draw in too quickly now.

When I bought my B in 1999 it was only 2 years old but had a crack in the washer bottle. I repaired it by using a soldering iron to melt the crack edges together. Been Ok since (or have I just put a curse on it!!)

Hi I have a washer bottle for sale on eBay, and it's leak free.
