Must be the 20years old plastic that's getting more brittle :slayer:
Does anyone knows if there is a way to ''fix'' it without getting a new part which probably is impossible to get?

I got one for £50.mine snapped as the lock is stiff and I was to stubborn to get out,walk round and unlock it from the outside

Why is it that its the passenger side that breaks?
Spent several weeks over Christmas and New years trying to locate a passenger side handle. I found about six driver side handles before I tracked down the passenger side one. I did buy both as a precaution.

Maybe like "Biscotti" above ,everybody leans across the car to open the

passenger door from the locked position, when it's under more load.

I know I do it too.....and now must stop doing it......
