I have seen this trim really worn on nearly all older barchettas, was wondering is there an official replacement part that they still sell or is there an universal part that you can replace it with or is there any way to resurect/restore that piece?

tried to find one on his website, no luck.
However I suppose they are old used ones- the ones he's selling?

I did saw one car for sale with that kind of replacement and in pictures it looked really bad for it and kinda botched, like it doesn't fits properly/ can't be fixed down.
and 30+euros for it with shipping, way too much as well.

I made a cover for the original part out of my wife's black leather boots.. I did ask first! It's not perfect but better than what was there. Too dark to take a photo right now..

that sounds like something exactly what I was after :worship:
If you can take a pic when you get some time that would be cool to see

The problem was the leather was very thick so I couldn't tidy the cut edge but with thinner leather or faux leather you should be able to do a decent job. I just used contact adhesive and a sharp knife. And a boot.. I used a little glue to keep it in place and it does stay.
